I just got back from BGN practice at TMS. There was only ONE Dale Earnhardt
Sr. souvenir trailer there. There used to be three. Maybe DE Sr’s
popularity is waning. After all, it has been 3 years +. I sure miss
watching DE Sr race.
I’m still bitter at NASCAR management for letting 4 drivers die of head
trauma before doing something about it. It took the death of a legend and
the most visible symbol of the sport to get proactive and even then, I think
they were in denial for almost a year after DE Sr’s death.
Rest in Peace, Adam Petty, Kenny Irwin Jr, Tony Roper, and DE Sr. You
didn’t have to die so young.
Bring on SAFER walls.
Sorry, I got carried away, but death is a very serious thing to me.

That well may be.
On the other hand, the "law of unintended consequences" strikes
lots of legislators. Before making anything mandatory, they had
to do safety studies to prove that the proposed solutions wouldn’t
make matters worse.

Amen.

Apparently the company that assembles them is working at top speed.
It’s gonna take time to get all the curves covered, I guess.

Fair enough.
