Elliott Sadler, Ken Schrader, Ernie Irvan
Not sure if that’s all of them though.

As with other journeymen drivers, I speculate that Kyle enjoys
being part of the show (apart from all other motives he may
have).
I’ll bet and the other drivers get a kick out of being in the
pack. It must be a rush to drive the cars around the tracks,
even if you’re not winnin’.
KP went after a young driver who was trying to apologize
for running him off the track at Sonoma last weekend.
I think he cares about doing the best he can, even if
it’s not on par with what the best teams and drivers
are doing.
I don’t blame Kyle for using euphemisms about Adam.
I can’t imagine how much it must hurt to lose a son
that way. Maybe he’s racing for Adam, too, every
time he goes out. That’s not a bad reason to race.

Well said Marty. Who are we, or anyone for that matter, to
begrudge him of his livelihood?
As a side note, I happened to get the #45 golf cart out on the
course today, and it too was a dog

Dittos. Additionally, there are plenty of teams and drivers who, week after
week, compete and end up in the back of the pack. Yet we don’t throw stones
at them. Sure, I would love to see Petty teams race at the front. Kyle has
had several glimpses of greatness in his day so I don’t think it’s a matter
of his driving ability.
