1: A Roush Racer wins
(Have you ever noticed I pick a lot of Roush stuff?)
2: Only one of the Dales will finish in the top 10
3: One of the Kenny’s will make the top 20
4: Mikey finishes better than Jr.
5: Mark Martin is fewer points out of first place than when he started the
race.
Bonus: The Roush cars take the top 5 positions

I’ve been drawing a blank on this one since yesterday…
Kenny Shrader and who else?

Was hoping Kenny Wallace would race.

Herman! That’s who I couldn’t think of trying to remember
who else would be a "Kenny".

YAY! +1

WOOHOOO! +1 Jr. saved me… although DJ was getting close

Ok. I’m either going to be yelled at…. or congratulated for taking
advantage of a hole in the rules. Technically this is a NASCAR news group.
so these predictions COULD apply to all the NASCAR weekly series. If so…
then Kenny Wallace finished 9th in the BGN race and this is a +1… if
not… -1 (I think I’ve seen other guesses about the other serieses and
TECHNICALLY I didn’t specify which series I was limiting this to, if any.
I’ll score both

Can’t even get creative with this one…. -1

This was actually looking pretty good for a while

I won’t yell at you, but I think RPG has always been about the Cup
race.
I guess someone could do Busch picks, but IMHO that would have to be
clearly specified if you want to go outside the normal bounds of the
game.

Yep, SERIOUS mission creep to include BGN.
Nice plus number either way!

True. But I think it’s OK for folks to RPG Busch or the CTS if they
want. They fit under "sport.nascar".

I think that’s a good rule to implement from now on. Let Michael
have the point. We’ll get it back from him later. :o)

You’re just remembering all the -5s I got last year

Yes, but I think the key point has been an unwritten understanding that
RPG picks apply to the Cup race.
I agree that it’s OK to RPG the support races, but such picks should be
clearly noted as applying to the support race. If you’re going to
consider the whole weekend’s action, that needs to be clearly specified
ahead of time too. Gotta give the Gimmie Police a fair chance to
evauluate what’s actually being predicted…
Otherwise, the default of considering just the Cup race applies.

This seems to be the minority opinion as of this moment (which is also
the scoring deadline). So, I’m calling this +1 rather than +3. If
further peer review overturns this, I’ll adjust it next week.
Thanks for the UCAPS!
Sounds like you had a good race week, all things considered.
I’m amazed at your willingness to tour so many shops.
John Martin knows a good parking lot for Martinsville. When
we decided to pack up, we were on the road riding at speed
within fifteen or twenty minutes of leaving the lot.

I beleive I’ll stick with the occasional gator in the lake out back,
thank you (I wish people wouldn’t call the wildlife officer when there’s
one out there, actually, since they keep the ducks down).
Nice UCAP.

Agreed but what we really need in Florida is a manatee eating bird.
