I’ve gone back through the last four "from" logs.
I don’t see your first three attempts reaching our software.
Here’s a troubleshooting page to consult:
<http://moleski.net/nascar/nntpprob.htm>
The ugly workaround at the bottom usually works,
even though it is ugly.
The sooner someone lets us know that they’re having
problems, the more likely that we can find some clues
about the problem. My e-mail address is
<mole…@canisius.edu>.
If we knew how to make the system work better, we
would. A newsgroup with no news is no fun.
Final note before we return to our regularly scheduled
rants about racin’: all of my posts go through the same
system as yours. I don’t get any special privileges over
and above being on the whitelist–except that every now
and again I get to moderate my own posts. Sometimes
I’m tempted to send them back with a nasty comment,
but most of the time I let them go through. You know how
I feel about a newsgroup with no news. :o(
Marty
P.S. : Are you cross-posting to a lot of groups about attending
races? If you’re posting to more than 5 groups, you may be
hitting an anti-spam filter.
