You make a very good point.  The best racing often is not the race for the
lead, so who really cares how many time (or, for that matter, how) it changes,
as long as there is good racing _somewhere_ on the track.  Now if we could
just get the networks to consistently do a good job showing _that_ racing
instead of following the leader for a good portion of the race, then we would
be in business (actually, Fox and ESPN have done a good job with this, it is

I think it is fun when the race at tracks like NHIS if for no other reason
than just to see folks whine about it.  :)  Yeah, NHIS doesn’t result in the
most exciting races in the world, but it beats the heck out of tracks like
Cali and Michigan (the _real_ snoozers….)

Should have been there Saturday.  The Truck race was pretty hohum but the
Bush North guy’s put on the show of the weekend.  Heard the Mod’s were
pretty good on Friday too.
