I didn’t get to see or hear the race today but I saw on NOL the 24 out
at lap 181 with engine problems. That’s at least 2 this year, which I
think is 2 more than the rest of his career combined. What happened?
Hendrick has enough problems without Randy Dorton havin’ a come-apart.

Gordon said he thought a rod broke.
He also said it happened on a good day… apparently he didn’t like it
out there with those guys racing three-wide, or something.

I didn’t catch it all but I believed this was brought up during the race…
In the couple of races right after Evernham’s departure…the cars had been
prepped / ready prior to those races (while Evernham was still around) and
thus…the strong cars. Now seeing their set up and what their results will be
for next season will be interesting.

You don’t think…NAW, that’s movie stuff. I’d be beat to death for
what I was thinkin’. Forget I posted this.
