NASCAR and Stockcar Racing

Finally, a serious advantage to living in Hawai`i.
Usually, I have to get up before 7am to watch the races.
The upcoming event in Japan in November is scheduled for 12:30 pm Japan
time on November 22nd which means the TBS coverage will be live at 10:30
pm (EST) on November 21st or 5:30pm in Hawai`i. I’m really looking forward
to the Earnhardt show and hope more drivers (probably at their wives
prompting) will visit Hawai`i before and/or after the race. Last year Dale
Jarret visited Kona; I hope more drivers/teams do. I’d love to point out a
great big piece of land just north of the airport that would be perfect
for a one mile track. I’ll be glad to give tours to all the great spots
not on the tourist’s maps.
