Maybe Brett should have offered Dave the bonus money to get the 5 points!  I
don’t remember anything in the public rules that stops a driver from bribing
another…  And Dave needs every penny he can garner.  Giving Dave what he
would have gotten if he stayed out (bonus money), so that he would pit and let
Brett have the 5 points, might have made that deal happen.

Brett the bonus (which he eventually got, anyway), but on the other,
Dave is my favorite driver and every lap he leads, even under caution,
is fine with me! :)
