No UCAP of the IROC.  Barely one of Qualifying for this year.  I can’t
afford $30 for qualifying either, and my companions had no interest in
the IROC so we left.  But I did get the haulers BY GOSH!  LOL

I’m pretty hacked that the infield passes have gone up so much, too.  We
paid $70 this year and they were $60 last year and only $50 for the 1997
race.  Yesterday, one of the radio stations was saying they were going
to impound the cars (even though the TMS website schedule said they had
practice on Saturday).  So we didn’t go out today.  Lo and behold, they
practiced, and we missed it.  We were starting to wonder if it was
really worth it to get the infield passes if they were going to impound
the cars.  The fun of the infield (if you’re not camping there) is
standing around the garage watching them work on the cars.

Will try to get that UCAP started ASAP….  But I have to get my
predictions in and get my gear together for our early AM departure.  See
you all after the checkers fall and some serious tailgating……
